Five images as shot with Zeiss WL 2.5 Pol Plan ?? 10x eyepieces and fed to Helicon Focus on default Settings.


Same image sharpened and color shifted to enhanced blue and green. This was the very first try with the photo adapter below and I was amazed.

Camera Adapter used to Make Images



This is a twofold design to test the hypothesis that there is an ideal distance for each camera eyepiece combination and to have an adapter to be able to use long large diameter eyepieces. To see if there is a sweet spot for eyepiece/camera combinations. Preliminary tests indicate there sure is a spot that is a better than any other. At first glance the spot seem to be were the image fills the largest area on the photo sensor on point and shoot cameras. More rigorous work will find out if the late night results are actually real or a flash in the pan. It does work well with oversize eyepieces but it is wanting somewhat in rigidity, More work should quickly clarify the ideal camera eyepiece relationship.gcc
